2 Friends Gallery is a gallery unlike any other in Alaska. We carry a carefully curated and constantly changing selection of original art, along with many unique, rare and hard to find resale pieces by well known Alaska and Alaska Native artists.

We are proud to display current works from numerous established local artists, as well as an eclectic collection of jewelry, pottery, clothing, and textiles from artisans around the world. When you enter our gallery, we want you to smile and soak up the vibrant colors and countless textures of things made by human hands.

Giving back to our community is a core value of 2 Friends Gallery. We donate a percentage of all sales to a different non-profit each month. Since the gallery was founded we have donated over $200,000. Check out our blog to see which organization is our current recipient.

2 Friends was opened in 2009 by longtime Anchorage artist Jacqui Ertischek.

Educated at Boston University School of Fine and Applied Arts and the University of Alaska, Anchorage, Jacqui holds a degree in Art Education and Psychology. In addition to building a successful business selling her jewelry and prints, Jacqui also worked as a high school counselor with the Indian Education Program for nearly twenty years. Jacqui’s warmth, humor, and sense of adventure are reflected throughout the gallery. Her generosity and contributions to the community have touched lives in Anchorage in countless ways. She is known for her distinctive laugh - warm, inviting, and genuine. You’ll know it when you hear it.
